| Description | The 51 Rifton Supine Board #E40 is expertly designed to provide superior support and stability for children 30-50 (76-127 cm), approximately ages 12 months to 9 years. This tilt-in-space stander/supine board is specifically designed for children with special needs with mild to more severe levels of physical disabilities. The Rifton Supine Board comes with a 14 Flip-away top that can be secured in place for a child who requires head support or flipped out of the way for a child that is learning to improve his head control. The 51 Rifton Supine Board will support a maximum of 100 lbs. (45 kg). The Rifton Supine Board can be positioned horizontally, vertically, and angle increments in between to provide customized weight-bearing support. These adjustments help therapists and caregivers provide varying levels of supine and upright standing in the Supine Board. A simple crank lever allows a therapist or caregiver to gradually increase or decrease the weight bearing required. Adjustable armrests are included to provide support if needed or can be collapsed to allow a childs arms to be free to explore objects in his or her environment. Additional adjustments can be made to the support features of the supine board as your child grows. |
